Stanley® Vidmar® Introduces Enhanced Ball Bearing Drawer Slides

New precise, low-friction drawer design is ideal for automotive applications

Allentown, Pa. (November 8, 2007) — Stanley Vidmar, a leading producer of durable storage solutions for a wide range of industries, has introduced a new, enhanced ball bearing drawer slide option for all its storage cabinets. The precise, linear-motion slide is ideal for customers who need a sturdy, easy-to-use storage solution that can withstand the rigors of everyday use.

The new feature is designed to provide an easy, smooth-rolling action that limits lateral motion and enables quick access to critical parts and tools with little effort. The ball-bearing drawers are the perfect solution for storing the wide array of parts and tools that are common in automotive service centers and parts departments

The ball bearing slide is available in four different drawer widths and two different drawer depths. The slides are available on all existing drawer and cabinet heights. Customers can combine the traditional Vidmar® drawer carriages with the new ball bearing slides to create custom cabinets capable of storing a wide array of parts and equipment. Each ball bearing drawer slide can be removed and relocated as necessary for easy cabinet reconfiguration.

The option is available on any of Stanley Vidmar’s cabinet platforms, including the Automotive Technician’s Centers, the Industrial Work Centers, and Mobile Cabinets. Like all of Stanley Vidmar’s storage solutions, each drawer interior can be custom designed with a variety of partitions and dividers for the ultimate in flexibility, security, and convenience.
