Storage Solution During DSEi Exhibition 2007

Allentown, PA (September 4, 2007) - Stanley Vidmar, a premier manufacturer of military storage solutions, will demonstrate one of their rugged, field-tested shipboard storage applications during the Defense Systems and Equipment International Exhibition 2007, to be held September 11-14 in London, England.

Stanley Vidmar's shipboard application and other military storage solutions will be on display at booth #916A.

The eye-level cabinet, which stands 59-inches high, meets full MIL-STD-901D shock requirements, making it ideal for use in environments where access to critical spare parts is essential in the event of damage to the ship. Stanley® Vidmar® cabinets accommodate the restrictive sizes of shipboard hatches, simplifying onboard installations.

The shock feature includes extra welding in the housing and drawers, reinforced plates, and a shock bar to protect and secure the cabinet and its contents. Also included are MR latches, which lock drawers in the open or closed position, and a housing lock.

The MR latches ensure that drawers remain open or closed to avoid injury or spilled contents in rough seas. An integrated locking mechanism offers the highest level of security for stored parts and equipment, while the shock bar on the cabinet housing offer an additional layer of safety and security. The added features are essential for storage needs in damage control areas.
